MONUMENTOUR WAS AMAZING!!

When we got to the DTE we were all ready for a great show.

But then, to our horror we noticed Paramore was already playing. 

ALREADY PLAYING.

We panicked. We found our seats.

They finished the song they were playing and said, "WELCOME TO MONUMENTOUR, we are Paramore!!"

OMG. They had just started. Thank GOD.

The whole point in seeing MONUMENTOUR was that we had never seen Paramore before!

BTW, Paramore was amazing. 

At one point, during "Misery Business" they picked one fan from the crowd, brought her on stage and let her be the lead singer for the rest of the song. (How cool is that?)

She said that they had been picking from the back of the crowd lately, but there was a girl in the front with a sign asking to be picked, apparently she knew that moment would happen, and so they picked the die hard fan.

Which, good on her, she knew what she wanted and she got it.

Paramore was all about streamers and confetti, and mother fuckers so am I.

It was AWESOME.

And a great opportunity for a selfie.

And then the main event. 

Let me tell you a thing, this is the 3rd time I've seen Fall Out Boy.

It absolutely never gets old. 

This is Pete Wentz thanking parents for bringing their kids to the Fall Out Boy show. 

He said, "My dad used to take me to punk shows, he hated it, but he did it."

And I was like ZOMG my dad used to take me to punk shows. 

Jenn even was like, "BIIILLLL" as soon as Pete started talking about parents bringing their kids.

My dad is a legend. 

They actually appear farther away in this photo then they were.

Then, a few rows in front of us Joe and Pete played a song in the crowd. 

Pete turned around and he looked at me.

Right in my face.

Right in my eyes.

AT.

ME.

Yes. 

MEEEEEEE.

I know he saw me. I know it.

I was on top of that shit. The SECOND he turned around I was like flailing. 

He totally saw me.

Pete said we had the most on point cellphone light game of the whole tour.

This was the last picture I took because I really don't like taking pictures at concerts, they never really turn out and I rather just enjoy the show. 

Trail Shenanigans

There is a crazy sink hole on our trail!!

It was a few feet deep!

That stick is actually over 3 feet long.

Up North for the 4th

Quick recap. We went up north.

We Golfed. (Mike golfed, I drove the cart.)

We touched deer.

(Bucks love me.)

We climbed Castle Rock and found were I carved my name into the binoculars when I was a kid. 

Went to a random gift shop and took a Flag selfie for Independence Day.

Got lucky and watched fireworks from our hotel room.

Went to the Butteryfly house on Mackinaw Island.

(A BUTTERFLY LANDED ON MY HEAD.)

Mike got one too. 

I want this bench in my life.

Mike's cellphone has the most badass camera.

I got FOUR hole in ones at the Mini Golf place in Mackinaw City!!

(The woman working the cash register was super rude.)

I'm gloating a little.

I never beat Mike at anything.

Empty Nest

Just the other day there were four eggs in our bluebird house.

I've been sing bluebirds fly all around, and one poking the head out of the house hole for a week now.

I just looked outside and saw a Sparrow go into the house!

So I rushed out there and scared it away.

When I opened the house it was empty.

I don't know if my bluebirds moved out or if they were evicted!

I'm so bummed. I didn't see any baby birds at all. I hope they hatched and moved away.

I swear I was just seeing bluebirds around yesterday!


EDIT: I did some googling. All signs point to my poor little eggs being murdered by those sparrows.
I'm in despair. 

Golf Date

Today we went golfing at a golf course by a lake.

I sucked it up hardcore, and it was about a million degrees outside.

But we saw lots of cute baby geese, a big frog, and a little muskrat.

Have to drive your cart over the cute covered bridge to get to the next hole.

  

This is where I started to give up on life and kick my feet up in the cart.

As we were finishing golfing we saw some scary dark clouds rolling in.

We went into town to get ice cream, and then pizza, (because that is how we roll.)

By the time we got home and ate it was getting really dark out.

I ran and took a quick shower because I was gross and sweaty from golfing, I had no more than stepped out and started to brush my hair when the power went out.

But we got this cool rainbow out of it.

Our power was out for 5ish hours. We ran into town again to my parents house real quick to charge our phones and by the time we got home the power was back on.

SPIDAHHHHHH

You know that thing when your dog comes in from outside and he has a big spider web coating his head and shoulders but you don't realize it until it is too late and you scream "SPIDAHHHHHHH" as it coats your entire hand? Yeah that thing just happened to me. I have to go chop my hand off now.
