Cousin Beach Day

Today was a beach day! My sister and cousin decided to pack up and head out.

When we first met up Alyssa and I were both wearing dresses but Shanda was wearing shorts so we decided to grab some McDonalds breakfast, head back to Shanda's and get that girl a dress.

Here is Shanda, our family life guard showing us proper beach safety!

Then of course we had to take pictures because we are girls. Here are Alyssa and Shanda.

There was a tug boat heading our way when we got there.

That's our stuff! We had a nice spot. The weather was beautiful when we first got there!!

Only about 45 minutes after we got there the wind picked up and it started to get COLD!

This sailboat was totally into it though.

When we got cold decided to walk to the light house.

Kind of a dumb idea really. It wasn't any warmer out there, but we did get a pretty view.

After walking back from the light house it was time to pack up. IT GOT SO COLD.

We headed into town and hit a couple of gift shops.

Shanda was pretty excited about these "Beer Goggles".

They had a Kilwins, AKA Alyssa's favorite place ever. She spent about a million dollars on truffles and didn't even feel bad about it.

Then it was time to eat. Shanda had spotted a Ponderosa on the way in and really wanted to eat there. Around us they have gone completely extinct so spotting a fully operational one is pretty rare.

It has been a LONG time since I've eaten at one. We all got the buffet, I mostly ate dessert.

Alyssa did the claw machine. She is the claw machine master, but actually didn't end up with anything.

We had a great day!! I hope we can do it again soon!! Maybe when it is warmer.
